The above Malaria risk map has been compiled with data from the WHO, CDC and NHS. Choosing whether to take preventative measures or drugs for malaria is a personal choice. The risks of malaria can change with the seasons, and altitude. Please research and understand the risks prior to travelling. The risk rating are those stated by the CDC. Even though the main map may say “low Risk” please check the detailed maps incase you are going to area of increased risk.
